I've seen & been sole ground crew for a mega team of 21, that flew really nicely. I've also help crew a megateam of at least 58 (16 teams with at least three in each, plus the ones I actually remember how many were in the team). That really was chaos.

I saw that - can't figure out how he was controlling them, he seemed to have 2 handles in each hand, surely he couldn't manipulate them independently...

I spoke to a guy doing some KAP at the festival on Sunday afternoon - he gave me a business card, and I found his pictures here:

That would be Steve de Rooy, #2 on iQuad.
Indeed, two handles in each hand... Imagine chopsticks with both hands.

Steve is awesome at flying 2 revs at the same time,
especially the symmetrical figures and kisses
I captured him here the afternoon before the festival started:

I was lucky to be flying in the sunday megafly:
column 3, row 3, purple rev
*buzz*
I love Portsmouth festival each year

Didn't realise just how pants the footage from my phone was - looks reasonable on the small screen.
There's some ugly buggers in amongst them darksiders though.

thanks for posting. You were brave getting into their faces!
LOL, this 'ugly b*gger' wasn't amongst them flying that day as this was the Saturday megafly...
I was shooting some 'film' on super wide lens instead
