Any fliers in Gloucester? /swansea weekends

Tue Oct 03, 2006 1:54 pm

I've recentley aquired a level one jump which i can axel (just - first time flying). I've spent hours reading up on the internet on where to go next but i guess flying with more experienced people is invaluble.

I'm thinking of heading down to Plock Court next time there's a gentlish breeze. Does anyone on the board fly in or around gloucester and fancy meeting up with an annoying newbie with too many questions? Failing that i'm in swansea at the weekends and fly on town beach when i can, (although limited by girlfriend duties a little!)

If you can wait until Xmas time.. I'll be back in Gloucester then. Plock court is 5 mins away.

Not aware of any fliers in the Swansea area (none that hang around here anyway).

On your way back from Swansea to Gloucester there is a good flying site at Cowbridge Common near where I live. Might be worth stopping off on a Sunday afternoon, I try to get there when I can although I spend a lot of weekends further west on the Pembrokeshire coast.

Might be worth posting here or sending a PM if you want to check in advance.
