Kind words, Bryan. Thank you. :satisfied:

Maybe I will take Roy up on the Winter trick comps thing. I'm sure I can put something together as an intro to proper comps.

Congrats on your sucess today! Long may it continue.

Nice to meet Mr. Bleep Bleep Bleep too :D

(Today's highlight? Going the whole day without shattering a LLE )

The biggest kite cup I've ever seen!

Bryan and I both flew really well in the last round and then Chris turned his flying control up to eleven

Great day, despite the lumpy wind. Thanks to all the MKF guys who organised it.
Must fly

Good to meet you too, Mark.

As Bryan said, your flying looks ready for the 'big-time' too. Give the winter competitions a go :-)

I was saying to someone the other day, just how much improvement we've seen from the likes of Bryan and friends over this last season. It's really encouraging to see such a great influx of new (and constantly improving) talent in the UK flying scene.

No doubt the wide range of different comps and flying events that STACK and others have been putting on has helped to push people along. I think it's fair to say we're now enjoying the second golden age of UK freestyle flying!

Well done everyone. Jolly good show!

Ah well we've beat them (you) now Roy, so we could offer lessons. ;-)

STACK and others have certainly provided the platform Andy and without that I / we would still be at the local field not getting any better, but it's equally inspiration from yourself and Tim, Carl and James and an overiding desire to beat le petit one (at some far off distant point on the future horizon) that keeps the momentum going.

Looks like I'll miss it :-(

Sorry you couldn't make it, Jeremy - we'll have to have another Midlands get together soon - any ideas where & when anyone?

I remember the good old days where I used to beat le petit on a regular basis. Ok, perhaps "occasional" rather than "regular", but either way, those great day are now sadly long gone... ;-)

However there is a glimmer of hope... we just have to hope that Chris gets distracted by booze, women and fast cars over the next few years and decides to give up kite flying altogether.

Here Chris, we all chipped in and bought you a year's membership to "Little Miss Tufty's Wild Women, Hard Booze and Fast Cars Emporium of Pleasure for Young Men". Enjoy!

Don't forget "le petit" and I share a pedigree prior to The Franchise. Do I count for free membership of "Little Miss Tufty's Wild Women, Hard Booze and Fast Cars Emporium of Pleasure for Young Men"?

Oooooh, that's below the belt (literlally) ABW. Playing Psych games with a young mans loins!

Talk about psych-out your opponents. What a great idea!!! Fill the back-end of the arena with hired great lookin' chix to mess with the guy's Karma!

Hang on, that wouldn't work....He'd just show-off even more!

I guess we'll just have to beat him without cheating....DOH!
