Is it just a higher aspect ratio with a slightly higher LS? Looks interesting... So many kites, so little time.

I think the Organic is going to be my next build. I really like the Quartz. 8-)

Having laid the plans one atop 'tother, the basically, yes. The LE and spine are the same, the trailing edge is cut back about an inch. The longer, higher LS will widen the assembled kite and make the sail depth shallower.

Can someone who has built the Quartz or Organic and a Virus comment on whether there is a family relationship between all these kites? The Organic certainly looks similar to my extended Virus, which has the same general geometry as the original, but with no winglets and the leading edges extended by 100mm.

I was just wondering whether to build one of these new designs as my extended Virus is a completely different kite to the standard Virus despite sharing about 90% of its layout.

Hi there

Organic was developed from Quartz. In cooperation with Christian Derefat and JC40, the choice was to keep the precision of the trajectories of Quartz and to make it more freestyle that a Diablis !

I think that my 2 friends succeeded. $\:D/$
