GOD!
That makes my 'leftovers' NPW5 look like a work of art... at least I was able to make it symetrical.

From the website "My brother picked it up at a garage sale for $15." He was robbed. 8-)

Funny thing is, it looks like a pretty faithful copy of a really fine kite (Big Brother or maybe Little Sister, a Wolfe kite either way). If as per original, those are 7 layers of ripstop at the standoffs.

And then you go and screw it up by making it look like that. :?

I am so tempted to post my Stranger Level 7 in cappuccino
colours as I am sure it would win.

So 70's Huggy Bear should be flying it!

Problem is Martin, a number of the SLKs you've posted are award winners  The Seven Sisters in particular (by the spectacularly named Randy Tom) is highly regarded, by those who regard this sort of thing highly.

Beauty. Eyes. Beholders. Etc.

Now, who would buy a kite like this ?

Goes back to something I said above - that this kind of thing on SLKs is not only acceptable but applauded. I vote that this thread remains for multi-line debacles only. Like the DM above ;) ;)

Actually - I quite like that one... It's slightly more subtle than the rest.

Once things quieten down we'll add a poll and vote on the 'best'

Don't think I missed that dig at the DM. Twice my taste has been disparaged in one thread :-P

Much as I like Chris Matheson, much as I like his kites, this is so not a good look.

Misguided ?

And pretty much anything by these berks. You just know that they fly on 200' lines with tails
