RIP Martin Corrie

Fri Jun 27, 2014 11:49 am

I'm sorry to have to let you know that Martin passed away this morning. He was the driving force behind the rougham festival and a great promoter of kite sports.

Also an original member and chair of Suffolk kite flyers for many years.

Hope the winds are smooth where ever you are now Martin.

Sad day

Never met him, but it's always sad news to hear of a fellow kite flyer passing away. Condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear this.
Martin worked very hard fo make The Rougham festival a diverse and entertaining experience for flyers and the public alike. He was a lovely guy and very pleasant company.

Any future Rougham festivals just won't be the same...
