WHKF committee meeting this Sunday, so has anyone got comments, good or bad, of the past event, and anything for the future events.
Ta, Peter.

To make a festival work hard you need someone on the mike all the time and someone else dedicated to field directing.

Person running the PA needs to be able to see the field :-)
PA needs 3.5mm jack input for mp3 players these days.

I know there were difficult circumstances regarding all three of these things this year, so make sure there is a contingency :-)

International fliers should get their own t-shirts from the brewery.

Thanks for the comments Keith, these were presented to the meeting, one hopes that they are being taken on board.
The decision of the committee was to run next years festival at the same site. There will be a change in that there will only be one display arena, and the rest of the field will be left open to free flying. Camping and parking will remain as was.

In that case my comments go double, and a schedule needs to be arranged beforehand based on the expected/invited flyers. I thought there was rumour of a return to Wroughton :-)

Wroughton - £15,000 just for the site! and after making a loss at this years meager attempt.....
Even the kite workshops we do are drying up, that's what pays for the festival realy. btw you'll need a new contact for next year, not me.
