   From me too. Really good to meet up with more FA regulars from around the country and see some really really good flying. I think being close to the phantom while Chris turned it into all sorts of non-triangular shapes during a comete sticks in my mind, but the people, weather and setting made it a great day all round, topped off with some fish and chips in Padstein on the way home. Definately worth the drive and the pain from comical sunburn (must remember that feet can be burn too next time). Looking forward to the next one...

Got a bunch of general photos - I'll post a link on this thread when they are suitably sorted out...

yep, that caught me out too - put the suncream on while I was wearing shoes, then took them off - DOH!

We had a great time too, and were lucky enough to get a clear drive home.

The wife did me proud and got some good shots (I was to busy flying and chatting!) so I've bunged them into a sort of slideshow. Hopefully it captures a bit of what it was like on Saturday...

Enjoy,

Nice to hear it was a good weekend. How much does the camp site cost and where is it?

I was on the beach over the weekend, I got sunburnt on the back of the legs at the knee joint. I put suncream everywhere but there - typical.

There's a few sites to choose from round and about....

Hellish long way to go for a weekender, worth it though for all the usual reasons.

Nice to see a few new faces and some I ain't seen in a while, along with all the regulars. Great gathering, and some outstanding flying going on on Saturday.

Bryan

Oh yeah, nailed the Twizzle on the Matchbox. ;-)

Your wife probably should take all your pictures. Great shots and a great weekend. See you next year.

I had a great weekend, thanks to the locals for ordering the weather it was spot on.

Great to meet up with so many flyers in one place. Roll on next year.

A short video of our weekend.

Some really top flying. It was unusually enjoyable going through 2hr of footage.

@Piero - I'll have to have another look for any footage of you on the Phantom. Adam may have some also.

Damn, that's a nice video. Loads of good stuff in there, esp. on that Phantom. Wow. Real smooth and relaxed.

Looks like the wind started from overland...and then rotated to come from the sea.
