There use to be a good fly-in at Chelmsford a few years back, but after Whaam closed it died off. :-({|=

Is there any other trick fliers in Essex who would like to meet up with a couple of us on a regular basis...

I pop through there regularly on my rounds. If you can find a site I might swing by some time.

Northants, hmmmm almost next door :?
I will have a look around the area for a nice site to fly in, while I am on my travels, but I am open to suggestions

Looking on Autoroute shows a big green bit in Chelmsford called 'Central Park'. Any beef on this area from anyone?

On my way through last week I spotted a big school playing field just down the road from a Hotel (can't remember the name).

No doubt permission would be difficult to obtain. :-(

Had a look in Central Chelmsford over the weekend and the park there is full of trees, climbing frames and surrounded by buildings, pretty pants in fact...
Any other suggestions, doesnt have to be Chelmsford!!!

Colchester?

I always eye-up a big playing field on the way from Colchester to Marks Tey as I go over a humpback bridge.
