Seeing as two new Portsmouth people signed up today I'll add this as a fly-in notice.

Tomorrow, Sunday 25 Jan, on the common. I reckon I'll be there around 11am and will stay until dark, weather permitting. Ellie and Jon will be around too, and Martin's going to try.

Bit light to kick off with, but picked up to a workable 3 to 4mph later on in the afternoon. Met another local flier called David with his Beetle and asked him to join us.

When we met Keith the other day at our fly-in, he handed out cards with the name of his pairs team and contact details on. It might be a good idea for us to do the same, maybe have a basic FA card, that we could personalise slightly....

We've had cards done for a while... more or less the same, but plain white. It's a good idea - especially with the L and E of Axel being round the 'wrong' way to most people.

Welcome to the site and the forum. Due to the small numbers of people in our area I tend to post any fly time on here, sometimes as I'm going out the door, so it's always worth having a look to see if anyone's going out flying.
