Anyone know any good sites in north oxford? Evenings long and missing flying! Tried portmeadow but everytime I go, the cows come straight for me!

I was going to say port meadow, never had cow problems, but there are some nasty kite biting dogs running loose (without any owners I think).
South of oxford is wittenham clumps - never been there but it appears on most kite flying site maps.
More useful is cutteslowe park, off the northern ring road. Loads of space !
White horse hill is where I tend to go - 20 miles west, 6 miles from home for me.
