Amazing stuff on South Pacific on BBC 2 last night. A certain type of fish has a mouth too small for a hook so the locals had devised a method of using kites with spider web acting as the 'bait/hook'. Of course they make it just a little harder by canoeing at the time so the kite is held a loft by string in the mouth until they get a bite.
Baffles me sometimes the extent of human ingenuity.
