Tue Feb 03, 2009 2:24 pm

Død Snø

OK it's in Norwegian but... I have two words for you:-

Nazi zombies.

Evil Dead meets Dog Soldiers meets Oivind Vinstra.

Too funny. I saw the adverts for this film on TV and was sure they were a spoof. Later, I realized that they were serious spots for a new horror film.

Nazi zombies, indeed. Scary shiznit.

Scary funny, though. Along the lines of Shaun of the Dead. You'll laugh, you'll scream, you'll wonder what the hell is being said.

Damn that looks epic! I'd watch it even if I didn't know what they were saying!

Wish. Command. Etc.

It was shown at the Sundance Film Festival in the US of A so I suspect the film will be released with subtitles as well. Reviews seem mixed, from "it's Bjørn of the Dead !!!?1!!" to "the decapitation scene was mild" but that's t'Internet for you.

I've just had a thought for all you Brits.... you do realise it's the zombie Nazis you're supposed to be afraid of and not the white stuff lying on the ground ?

:P

if you played Call of Duty - World at War, and collected all the deathcards during the game, you could have reached the hidden level: a dark location with zombie nazi soldiers. wicked! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2uKeYoJWhA

The kids here seem to love it as they spend the day playing out in it rather than in school.
It's quite a treat for Pembrokeshire as the stuff doesn't lie much or for long around the towns here-the weather round here tends to emphasize the description of our climate as "temperate maritime"

The warning signs are everywhere....

Well, there in Austin, TX actually. But from the few residents of that place I've met it counts as everywhere as far as they are concerned.

We watched this with a group of friends a while back and it was unanimous...fantastic all the way to the end.
