Also known as the
dihedral activated bridle this version continues the improvements
of the turbo bridle and attempts to nullify some of it's disadvantages
- such as the difficulty in tuning the bridle.
I will not attempt
to begin to explain the minutae of the dihedral bridle, nor it's
enhanced version the trihedral activated bridle. To do so here
would be too close to duplicating the work of Andy Wardley - their
designer. Instead I provide here a link to his pages where he
discusses the bridles in depth, and thank him for his great work
in this area of kite building. These bridles, or variations of
them, grace nearly every professional sports kite being produced
today.
